Drew Richardson - Navy - Damage Controlman
My name is Drew Richardson and I spent 4 years in the US Navy as a Damage Controlman.
Getting out of the military and transitioning into a college student was a challenging and daunting task. I was nervous about how I would do in college classes and wondered if I could confidently learn the material. I reached out to Army Smart for help in chemistry and I was met with friendly staff that quickly got me in contact with an exceptional tutor. The tutor was extremely knowledgeable in the subject and would quickly respond whenever I reached out for help. At the conclusion of the class, I felt confident about the material, and knowing that help was just an email away allowed me to excel. I came back to Army Smart when I dealt with another
challenging class, and the experience was just as easy.
I had constant help and it allowed me to further excel as a college student. Army Smart has been the best resource I have found for members of the military transitioning to college life. Take my advice and reach out to
Army Smart whenever you need help in a class.

Alex Hulett - Army - Combat Camera
As far back as I can remember, I have had difficulties with math. When it came time for me to complete my math requirements for my undergraduate degree, other veterans recommended Army Smart to me. My tutor was an exceptional teacher who explained instructions in a way so you could understand them quickly. Not only did I pass my class, I aced it! Thank you, Bogart and the rest of the tutors of Army Smart. I have and will continue to recommend them to every veteran I know.
Jay Barnett - Army - Petroleum Specialist
Army Smart helped me obtain my associate's degree. Math was a real terror for me, but Army Smart matched me with the best tutor on the planet. You guys really are heroes.
Army smart really is a hidden treasure. I absolutely had the most wonderful experience. My math tutor Morghan was very patient and knowledgeable. She made calculus fun and practical. I owe Morghan and Army smart all the kudos plus for helping me obtain my degree. Thank you Morghan and Army Smart for all you do for veterans everyday.

Mack Fina - Army - Blackhawk Mechanic
My name is Mack, and before I spent 6 years in the Army as a BlackHawk mechanic, I was struggling my way through high school. When I found out I was accepted to Harvard, I was panicking slightly. I had done absolutely zero math in those 6 years (other than counting down the days until payday), but I wanted to
succeed this time around. I had seen Army Smart mentioned on reddit before, so I decided to reach out and get some help.
My tutor spent a good two months going over math topics with me, from basic algebra to some calculus and probability. I ended up getting an A in my first Calc class, in large part due to Army Smart.
I’m a big believer in giving back, so I volunteered to help tutor last semester, helping students with Calc 1&2. I’m very thankful greatful for the help I received, and I hope I’m making a difference in the lives of others.
